About Us

Welcome to the Shilo MFRC!
The Shilo MFRC, established in 1990, serves the families of the Canadian military and civilian employees of CFB/ASU Shilo, military families residing in the city of Brandon, Manitoba and the Rural Municipalities of Cornwallis, North Cypress and Oakland-Wawanesa.

The Shilo Military Family Resource Centre is a non-profit charitable organization that operates under the authority of a board of directors. For a complete list of our newly elected board of directors and a copy of our board meeting minutes, visit the Board of Dirctors section.

Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Building Tours
Stop in for a tour of the Shilo Community Centre and recieve a package of information about the MFRC and Shilo and area to help you connect to the community. You will also receive a tote bag of freebies! We provide information on programs and services available on Base as well as surrounding areas.

Welcome to This World Baby Quilts
The Shilo MFRC would like to welcome new babies to our Shilo community. Please drop by and pick up your “Welcome to This World” baby quilt. Don’t forget to bring baby and show them off. These quilts are hand made by MFRC volunteers and will be a keepsake for your baby for years to come.
