Your Career Path A Virtual Career Counselling Program for Military Spouses

Are you ready to make your career a priority but need some support in defining and achieving your career goals? Would individualized, professional career counselling help?

The career of the military spouse/partner is deeply affected by the military member’s service. The right professional career counsellor understands these challenges and can help you make a plan to achieve your career goals, while still considering the reality of the military family lifestyle.

Your Career Path matches military spouses with certified career counsellors who work with them to map out a career fitting to the military family lifestyle. Successful program applicants will participate in several individual career counselling sessions (online or by telephone) and complete assignments related to developing a career path and creating a concrete plan. A minimum time commitment of 2-3 hours/week for 10 weeks is required. The program will be tailored to each person’s specific needs and goals, however, does focus on career exploration and planning.

This program is complimentary for non-serving military spouses / partners. Priority will be given to applicants who do not have access to employment counselling through their local MFRC.

The program will be offered twice this year.
