How to Become an MFRC Volunteer
It's easy to get the process started!
To begin, simply email Joanne O'Connor to let her know that you are interested. In addition to telling her a little about yourself and why you want to volunteer, be sure to attach a current resume and include two (2) references.
If you are interested in a specific volunteer opportunity, it would be good for you to mention it at this time as well.
Once Joanne has received your offer of services, she will reach out to you connect and setup for you to come in for a preliminary interview to ensure that you and the Toronto MFRC are a good fit. We will help facilitate your completion of a Police Records Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening, through your local police service.
You will also receive a tour of the MFRC facilities and an introduction to the various staff at this time.
The time has come! You've been accepted as an MFRC volunteer, but we still have a few more things to get done... Prior to you starting your assigned duties, you will be asked to complete and sign the following paperwork:
- Oath of Confidentiality
- Photo Release
