Military members at 8 Wing CFB Trenton 

With limited space and a large military population to service we are required at this time to limit access to military members only until further notice.  Our hours of operation will be Monday to Friday from 06h00 to 18h00.  Saturday 08h00 to 12noonView our weekly calendars, below.

Within these hours, we have several priorities to manage therefore access will be designated by unit  (chart below).  Units that have satellite locations will be expected to use the resources within their unit lines until such a time where our capacity can increase.  
 
At the South Side Gym we have created two workout areas all of which have a maximum occupancy that must be respected in order to ensure your safety.  Area 1 is the Strength and Conditioning Room.  Area 3 is an indoor cardio and functional training space on the east gym floor. 

The eligible units on Base have been divided into two groupings as outlined below.  Designated timings have been created when members of the units can reserve a space for one hour.  In addition to these unit timings, we also have open timings when any military member can reserve a space for one hour.  The gym will be closed for small blocks throughout the day to allow for cleaning of the facility.

Remember ...

  • A mask is required upon entering the building;
  • arrive dressed for your workout;
  • bring your Military ID with you;
  • the showers and lockers are now open - ask the Front Desk for details;
  • bring your own water in a bottle;
  • you are required to wipe down all equipment after use;
  • sorry, no ‘working in’ with other patrons or sharing equipment'
  • you must stay in the area you are registered for; 
  • follow the flow of traffic; and
  • adhere to all COVID Response Protocols including; proper hand washing, physical distancing, and wearing a mask in enhanced areas
