Child Care Support Emergency, Respite, and Work-Related Absence Child Care Support

The goal of the Emergency Child Care (ECC) Service is to facilitate short-term emergency care requirements in times of a CAF work-related separation and/or emergency.

A deployment or work-related separation is any time your CAF member is away from home for an extended period of time.  Some examples of this time are: an overseas deployment, training, or a course away from home. Work-related absence/deployment child care support is designed to help ease the stress of these times.

The first step in receiving funds for child care is to have a Family Care Plan on file with your MFS Coordinator. For additional information on how the program works please contact your MFS(US) Team Member.
