Child Care Program Learn about the child care resources available to you during Deployment & Work Related Absences

A deployment or separation is any time your CAF member is away from home for an extended period of time.  Some examples of this time are an overseas deployment, training, or a course away from home.

These times can be stressful and overwhelming, which is why MFSUS has committed to developing a Deployment and Work Related Separation Program.  This program will be used to supplement the services offered on the US Military Bases (when available), and to bring together Canadians to support each other.

Currently MFSUS has a Deployment and Work Related Absence Child Care program which offers support to families who experiences these separations for a period of 14 days or more. The first step in receiving this childcare is to have a Family Care Plan on file with your MFS Coordinator. For additional information on how the program works please contact your MFS Coordinator.
