Healthcare in the U.S. Accessing medical care, dental, vision, immunizations, and having a baby

Healthcare in the U.S.
When you are stationed in the United States with the Canadian Armed Forces, you have two different ways to access healthcare: through U.S. military installations, i.e. base hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, labs, imaging centers - known as Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), or through local, civilian medical providers.

For more information about this process, check out our Medical Staff's Information Page below, and the Military Family Services U.S. Family Guide.
