ARTISTIC SKATING

IMPORTANT
The Valcartier Artistic Skating Club (CPA) has decided to suspend Winter 2021 registrations. Registrations will be open when the health guidelines of Patinage Québec allow skating.
Thanks for your understanding !

COVID-19 INFORMATIONS
In order to respect the measures established by the Patinage Québec Recovery Plan, here are the adaptations made by the club:
  • The ratios on the ice will be reduced and the teaching material as well as the setting up of the ice will be done only by the coach.
  •  You will be able to put on your skates with distanciation in the stands assigned by group.
  • Program assistants will be assigned to a sub-group for the duration of the season.
  • Wearing a mask and washing hands is a mandatory in the arena for everyone (on arrival and departure).
  • Students (children 10 years old and over) can remove the mask only during their practices.
  • A program assistant or a volunteer will be in charge of ensuring that the distancing rules are maintained.
  • The handling of children will be reduced and will be done mainly by using equipment (ex cones).
  • It is strongly recommended, if possible, that only one parent or legal guardian be present on the platform for the duration of the course.
  • For more safety, we will take out of the ice the children who do not collaborate since they require more handling.
  • Parents will be advised of all measures and will have to answer the COVID-19 questions at each class.
  •  Coaches and assistants will be trained with the new procedures and they will follow the recommendations of Patinage Québec.
