In compliance with public health standards, Courcelette Day Camp offers activities adapted to the current reality caused by COVID-19. Children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities as no specialized camps or outings will be offered in 2020.
The Courcelette Day Camp will be offered from Monday, June 29th to Friday, August 21st, 2020. We will be closed on July 1st for the National Holiday

Special Needs Facilitator
The following schedule will be implemented for ONLINE registration:
- Weeks 1 to 4 = from June 4th (6pm) to June 8th (10pm) inclusively.
- Weeks 5 to 8 = from June 18th (6pm) to June 22nd (10pm) inclusively.
Register using the CODE of the camp of your choice.
Register Online if you have an account with the recreation department.

The Camp de jour Courcelette offers an enjoyable and entertaining recreational experience to the children of the community during the summer months in a safe environment. Your child will discover new interests by promoting personal growth, learning new skills, socializing and fostering their energy in a positive way.

SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
No specialty camps will be offered in 2020 due to exceptional circumstances caused by COVID-19.
This summer, the Courcelette Day Camp will be offered by age group:
5-6 years old: With a ratio of 1 facilitator per 10 youth, this group will be at the Community Centre (bldg. 93) and will have indoor and outdoor spaces for its activities.
Schedule: drop off (8am-8:15am), camp start (8:15), pick-up (3:30pm-3:45pm).
Ages 7-8 and 9-12: With a ratio of 1 facilitator per 12 children, this group will be at the arena and will have indoor and outdoor spaces for its activities.
Schedule: drop off (8:15am-8:30am), camp start (8:30am), pick-up (3:45pm-4pm).
Attention: Please note that the age is determined as of September 30, 2020.
Example: My child will be 7 years old on August 3rd, so I could register him/her for camps 7-8, 7-12 and 5-6 years old in the weeks before his/her birthday
RATES AND TAX CREDITS
Our rates include SRP membership and costs attributed to COVID-19.
$175 for 1 child per week
$165 for 2 or more children per week (price per child)

Day camps are part of daycare services, did you know that you could receive a tax credit of up to 75% of the cost of the camp! The tax receipt (R-24) will be mailed to you in February. For more information, please visit the website at Revenu Québec and Revenu Canada
Schedules will vary by 15 minutes depending on your child's location (Community Centre or Arena).
Upon arrival, children must check-in, go to their pre-determined group, and follow the indicated sanitary measures.
In order to follow the recommendations of the DSP, schedules sanitary measures will be implemented during games and snacks/meals. Games of all sorts (crafts, sports, cultural...), adapted to the current situation, will be organized to ensure our camp remains fun and entertaining.

ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The child's eligibility criteria are as follows:
Note: All forms will be evaluated in accordance with our resources.
- Must be between 5 and 12 years old and a 'Regular Member' of the Sport and Recreation Plan (PSL).
- Have a recognized diagnosis (mental health, intellectual or physical disability)
- Desire to join a regular group
- Be able to function in a group with accompaniment
- Acting in a manner that does not jeopardize his or her safety and that of others
