Assistance and Information Services
The Wainwright MFRC offers books and materials on employment and career-related topics. A fax machine, photocopier and computer are available for career and employment purposes.

Career Fairs
Every other year, the Wainwright MFRC partners with local agencies to present a career fair that brings together professionals and employers from various fields. The Career Fair provides information on career choices and post-secondary institutions and programs.

Employment Assistance
Employment Assistance is available to assist veterans, releasing members, military spouses and dependants with employment searching, career counselling and educational planning.

The Primary Services include:
• Job search strategies and support
• Interest and skills inventory
• Résumé and cover letter development and updating
• Résumé translation to English
• Interview preparation and skill development
• Networking information, contacts and support
• Self-employment information
• Return-to-work support
• Education and training information
• On-site job resource board
• Various employment related workshops
• Information on Employment Insurance and other employment related government programs

Upcoming Employment Courses
Throughout the year, workshops are scheduled on various topics including résumé writing, work search techniques, interview skills, computer software, specific programs, career planning and home-based businesses. Check out the links below to view upcoming courses and workshops.
