Deployment Resources

Services and Programs Getting ready to go, when they are gone, when they are back - we are here for you.

Are you or a family member currently experiencing or planning for a deployment in the near future? If so, this course is for you.  Preparation, education and skills are not only important for your military loved one's success during the deployment, they are also important for you, whether you are a spouse, life partner, parent or friend. The Road to Mental Readiness program is designed specifically for loved ones of military members. One of the best ways you can prepare yourself to manage the upcoming deployment is to take this brief 1.5 hour, informal training. R2MR also has a component specific to learning how to support children with Deployment and Reunions as well as a component for those who deal with Family Frequent Interval Separation.

Welcome Home Bags:
Let us help you celebrate the return of a loved one. Pick up your Welcome Home Bag at the MFRC. These kits are FREE and include various items to decorate your home for the return of a loved one. This is a fun activity for kids and adults of all ages.
Parcel Packing Station and Resource Library
The Winnipeg MFRC has a parcel packing station located in their newly renovated Resource Library. This includes boxes, wrapping paper and the necessary tools to ship a package to your loved ones. With any Belleville shipping address, the MFRC will send out the package free of charge. The Resource Library has some fantastic resources and workbooks for children, youth and adults to prepare and support members and their families through separations and reunions.

At this time, you will have a quick tour of the MFRC, meet some of the other coordinators who work at the MFRC and find out everything you need to know to help you get through a Deployment and Reunion with all the tools at your fingertips.
