Second Language Training

The MFRC provides second language training for military spouses and children (14 years old and older) interested in learning English or French. Military personnel, reservists and civilians can also register for second language courses.

A miniumum of five registrations are required to start a course and a maximum of 10 students per class are accepted.

French and English classes are offered.

Taught by competent teachers, courses are offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring. The purpose of this training is to develop the knowledge required to communicate in a second language. The course focuses specifically on oral communication.

For military spouses who can not attend in-class training or because the required level is not currently being offered, the MFRC offers access to the Rosetta Stone online program.

Fall classes start week of September 23, 2019 and ends December 10, 2019
