The Winnipeg MFRC Board and staff understand the challenges placed on the employment and education plans military families have as a result of postings.
The employment and education coordinators role is to assist families of Canadian Forces members with directly entering or re-entering the work force and or provide resources and advocacy to assist with education and career planning.
Upon your arrival in Winnipeg it may be beneficial to meet with the coordinator who will support you with any employment and education issue that may arise.
Whether you need tips on how to find employment or improve your resume, information about training programs, advocacy related to the employment insurance system or developing a realistic career plan the coordinator will be pleased to assist.
The coordinator is available for individual consultation and assistance with employment and career planning. These services are available to military spouses their immediate family and youth.
There is an Employment and Education Support Group running on Tuesdays until April 23, 2019. It is free and drop in from 0930 to 1130 at the MFRC 102 Comet St. There will be different topics each week to help you meet your employment and education goals.
