City of Yellowknife - offers a variety of recreational programs for teens. Click here to see the recreation guide.

Sidedoor Youth Centre - a place for 15 to 24 year olds to hang out and socialize. The Sidedoor Youth Centre also offers a Youth Employment Program. Click here for more inforamtion.   

The Rainbow Centre - offers progamming geard to youth (30 years and under) focussing on queer and trans issues/experiences, sexual health and identity as a whole. They offer a variety of progamming which can be viewed here. There's also a hang out area which is open from 3:30 to 8pm Monday thru Friday and 1 to 3:30pm Saturday and Sunday.

Yellowknife Public Library - the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a program for 12 to 18 year olds. TAG offers teens opportunities to meet new people, gain community service hours, help with library programs, take part in an audiobook club as well as get volunteer experience for their resume. YWCA - Y Mentors is a mentorship program where junior mentors (14 - 17 years) mentor younger girls (11 - 13 years) and help them in reaching their academic, career and personal goals. Junior mentors are provided specialized training throughout the year. For more information click here.
