About the 2021 CAF Newspapers’ Youth Reporter Competition

From October to December, young people from military families and Cadet organizations, aged 13 to 18, were invited to pitch a personal story idea or report unique to their lives, as part of the 2021 CAF Newspapers’ Youth Reporter Competition.

The top six finalists were selected by a review committee in February. The unique stories represent youth experiences from military communities and Cadet organizations in Nova Scotia, Quebec, British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Each finalist was given a few weeks to draft their unique, personal stories, based on their original story idea.

Now, it’s your turn! Vote for your favourite story. The youth reporter with the most votes wins!
