Graduation Requirements

Graduation Requirements Links to provincial Ministries of Education and Graduation Requirements Across Canada

High school graduation sets the stage for a student’s life, whether they are heading into the workplace, entering apprenticeship training, or enrolling in a college or university program. With CAF families moving between provinces, it is important to know what your child needs to graduate.
Use the table below to find credits and other requirements for successful completion of a high school diploma.

*High school diploma leads directly to post-secondary education.
** High school diploma leads to work place, vocational college or general college (CEGEP) prior to university destination.

Not all graduation requirements are available in both official languages. Please contact a CEM guidance counsellor for more information.
